With over 58,000 institutions & 40 million students, India’s education sector is the second-largest in the world and is currently undergoing a significant transformation, particularly in the post-COVID era.

With this comes a world of opportunities:

• Competition: As the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) increases annually, the demand for quality education continues to outpace supply.
• Complexity: Academic and administrative processes are becoming increasingly complex, especially in the wake of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
• Compliance: More digital regulations are being introduced by regulatory authorities which impact the NAAC nad NIRF rankings.
• User Experience: Gen Z students expect a mobile-first approach in their educational journey, just as they do in other aspects of their daily lives.

While Covid helped in changing the intent of institutions when it comes to embracing technology openly, there is still a long way to go. Hence, there is a need for “Capacity Building” in HEIs so that the teams and all key processes are efficient enough to effectively utilize technology.
