“The future lies in connecting the institutions we already have and unlocking what they can achieve together.”
What becomes possible when a state’s higher education institutions work as one connected ecosystem? That was the central question at the Digii100x Andhra Pradesh Roundtable. Across ten discoveries, academic and institutional leaders explored how collaboration, shared capabilities, talent mobility, research networks, and industry partnerships can unlock collective excellence and create new possibilities for higher education across the state.
Key Discussion Pillars
Institution-to-Institution Collaboration
- Enabling inter-university mobility, credit transfers, faculty exchanges, common MoUs, and shared academic delivery.
- Connecting central, state, and private institutions to build complementary capabilities.
Statewide Talent Development
- Aligning academic curricula and institutional output with state industrial investments and priority sectors.
- Creating stronger pathways for talent mobility, employability, and regional talent retention.
Research, Innovation & Knowledge Networks
- Pooling high-end laboratory infrastructure and opening Centres of Excellence across institutions.
- Building multi-institutional research consortiums and joint proposals for larger grants and shared innovation.
Industry as a Co-Creator
- Moving industry beyond recruitment into curriculum and programme co-design.
- Developing industry-sponsored degrees, apprenticeships, and problem-driven research aligned with real industry needs.

Where These Conversations Happened
Digii100x Andhra Pradesh was held on 12 June 2026, in Visakhapatnam, convening vice- chancellors, institution builders, investors, and industry leaders from across the country.
The regional edition carried the Digii100 Summit’s national mandate into execution: how Indian higher education can move beyond campus walls to build high-impact ecosystems for innovation, talent, and growth, in line with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Across its sessions and closed-door roundtables, leaders examined industry-academia partnerships, campus innovation and startup ecosystems, regional talent and workforce development, and collaboration for societal impact.
One of these focused sessions was “One State, One Higher Education Ecosystem: Unlocking Collective Excellence Through Collaboration.”
This playbook is based on the discussions and practical experiences shared in that roundtable.
