University Grants Commission of India has introduced new courses for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. These new degree programs are spread across various streams, including engineering, medicine, sports, and architecture. Higher education institutions in India will be able to offer these courses from the next academic year subject to completion of formalities.
Students completing their twelfth standard in 2022 will be eligible to apply for the newly introduced bachelor programs in the next session. Additionally, students who have completed their graduation in 2022 will be able to apply for the master’s programs in the next session.

The introduction of these ten new courses is a welcome initiative by the education ministry.
