Steps Required to Seek AICTE Approval

Any new institute or existing department of Deemed-to-be university/state private university/

state public university/central universities applying for AICTE approved courses for the first time need to follow the mentioned steps:

  • Step-1
    Visit AICTE’s official website– and click on web portal login.
  • Step-2
    Once at the homepage of the portal, click on Request User Id to get your Login credentials (User Id and Password).
  • Step-3
    Using the credentials received on your registered email id, login to the AICTE web portal.
  • Step-4
    Click on New Institute Application and go through all the given instructions carefully.
  • Step-5
    Proceed Further and click on New Institute Application once again to create an application for AICTE approval.
  • Step-6
    Fill the asked information in the given tabs, including Institution Details, Trust/Organization details, etc. After this, Land Details, Deficiency and Payments Tabs will also be enabled.
  • Step-7
    Fill in all the data in the right fields. Click on the Submit button to complete your online application for AICTE registration.
  • Step-8
    To make the payment, follow the steps listed under the payments tab. You can check the required payment in the TER charged tab.
  • Step-9
    Don’t forget to take the printout of your online application Part-1, Part-2 and Deficiency Report. Take regular follow-ups and maintain the communications with AICTE HQrs via email, SMS, and website to ensure that all the formalities for AICTE Approval Process are complete.
